Penny Power is back!
These were joyful words to the amazing Penny Power team who were told in mid-June it had published its last issue.
Not so Fast…
I grew up in this area and Penny Power has been an iconic part of the community since its founding in 1981. I knew it was destiny that it should be reborn with new energy and new vitality.
My commitment is to ensure we deliver the best possible publication each week to our three key audiences:
Local Businesses
You are the lifeblood of a thriving local community. We exist for and because of you. We value every single display and classified advertiser, and we are committed to helping you achieve the results you expect. Thank you for your support through this transition!
Local Community
“Thumbs up, thumbs down” provides a unique and popular community dialogue. Penny Power will expand our content that supports our local communities and dedicated non-profits.
Loyal Readers
The massive outpouring of support demonstrated the incredible passion you all share for Penny Power. It made my decision to acquire the business an easy one. Our new distribution strategy of being “ubiquitous” means you will now be able to pick up Penny Power weekly in the places you routinely visit. You will find us in your local businesses, post offices, favorite grocery stores, etc. We even have a new exciting partnership with Wawa! This is more efficient, kinder to the environment, and ultimately gets Penny Power into the hands of those who most fervently support our local businesses.
I am committed to evolving and growing Penny Power as both a print and digital voice of our community in the years ahead. Thank you to all our loyal supporters. The best is yet to come.
