Thumbs Down

To the driver who pulled out behind me in the SUV, on the night of October 20th in Richlandtown, on 212 and then proceeded to pass me doing 85mph on the double yellow line road. Shame on you.

Thumbs Up

Thank you to the man who helped push my grandson’s car off the road when he had an accident.

Thumbs Up

To the gentleman who gave us the money we lost in Quakertown on October 29.  We are going through a rough patch just now and losing it would have made the patch even rougher.  The fact that he returned it is yet another example of the honesty and compassion of the folks in the Quakertown area.

Thumbs Down

You gutted a deer right on our mowed property.  Now we have to remove it. Would you like someone doing that to you? Out of courtesy we would have appreciated if you would have asked permission to retrieve your deer.  We are hunters ourselves.  We know the rules. The incident happened at the end of October on Doerr Road, Quakertown.

Thumbs Up

To the residents, local churches and fire department in Coopersburg who gave their time to hand out treats on Trick or Treat night.  You made the night very special for so many kids and adults as well.  Great memories were made thanks to your efforts.  We are blessed to have such a kind-hearted community.

Thumbs Up

A huge Thumbs Up to Penny Power and its staff for allowing me to grow my brand and new businesses through fair priced ads! Feeling so much gratitude to be meeting and serving great people in our community.  P.S.  Thank you for the relisting reminders!

Thumbs Up

Thank you to the kind lady and child who paid for our breakfast at Quakertown Family Restaurant on October 7th. What a wonderful surprise! Thank you, again, from the five sisters at the middle table.

Thumbs Down

To the couple in Upper Black Eddy who feel the need to blow every leaf that falls, 8 hours a day. Sunday included. Give it a rest, you live in the woods! The constant noise from your blower all day long gets very old. Don’t you think your neighbors would like a little peace and quiet. Sunday is a day of rest. Nobody wants to hear your blower at 9am on a Sunday morning.

Thumbs Down

Shame on the person whose big dog did its business at one of the memorial benches in Upper Saucon’s new Hopewell Park and then failed to clean it up. How about showing some appreciation for this beautiful park and some respect for your neighbors.

Thumbs UP

I am 98 years old and just spent a week at St. Lukes Hospital in Quakertown.  While I was there I stayed up until 1 o’clock watching the Phillies, with much cheering and shouting.  Evidently someone in the next room heard me and anonymously presented me with a beautiful crocheted shawl in red, white and blue. I want that person to know she has made me very happy, not only with the shawl but the love behind it.  It gives me hope that love and kindness prevails.

Thumbs Up

Thank you to the gentleman in the white truck, in front of me at the McDonald’s in Coopersburg on Wednesday, November 4th.  Thank you! Thank you! I will try and pay it forward.

Thumbs Up

To the Perkasie Borough workers (leaf collection).  I was just about done when they came by and helped me get them to the street for removal. I am forever grateful for your kindness.

Thumbs Up

I would like to thank the couple who paid for my breakfast at Santiago’s Diner on Veterans Day.

Thumbs Up

To the very kind person who paid for my husband and my breakfasts at “Kathy’s” early Saturday morning on November 12th. You made our day. Thank you!

Thumbs Down

The election is over! Let’s make America Beautiful. Pick up your political signs!

Thumbs Up

To the Pennridge Marching Band and Color Guard for placing first in their division at the Cavalcade Championship in Hershey PA this past weekend. Your dedication along with team leaders and parents has made our community Pennridge Proud!

Thumbs Up

To the Southern Lehigh Boy Scout troops for all their efforts with this year’s Scouting For Food which supports Betty Lou’s Pantry. Through their hard work and the amazing support from the community, over 21,000 pounds of food was collected. Thank you all.

Thumbs Down

To the people in Limeport that let their black cat roam the neighborhood. One day it could be hit by a car, which would be sad, not only for you the owner but for the person in the car that hit it.

Thumbs Up

To East Rockhill Township leaf clean-up crew. Best job done ever.

Thumbs Down

To neighbors everywhere! Please store your belongings neatly on your property.  Please don’t leave unsightly things in your front yard to be an eyesore for your neat neighbors.  Thank you so much in advance.

Thumbs Up

A big Thumbs Up to the company and workers who cleared all the trees and brush from the Route 412-212 intersection in Springfield Township.  It’s wonderful to be able to see everything from the stop sign side.  A very thankful driver.

Thumbs Down

To people who don’t care enough to keep their dogs safe.  You should love and protect them like you would a child- not let them roam across busy roads and get hit.  Shame on you!
