Thumbs Up

To the hard
working volunteers at
Nockamixon State Park
who keep the trails
open and beautiful for us
to enjoy hiking and
horseback riding.

Thumbs Up

To the Scouts from
Trumbauersville Troop 13 and
Quakertown Troop 53
who on Earth Day planted
seven trees and
mulched the entire
Veterans Park
in Trumbauersville.
Also, thank you to
Mayor Jim Black
for arranging the flag raising
ceremony to complete\
Kay LA’s Eagle Scout project.
It was wonderful
to see all these young
people doing such a much
appreciated project.
What a wonderful
way to start the day.
Thank you!

Thumbs Down

To the driver of the
SUV who
thought driving as
close as possible to me
would force me to drive faster.
However, I am only able to
drive as fast as the
big white truck in front of me!
Be more aware
of the situation and look
in front of the car
you are tailing to see
if perhaps there is
a reason they aren’t going faster.

Thumbs Down

For people
who can’t seem
to master right hand
turns when there are
no oncoming vehicles.

Thumbs Up

Congratulations
to the cast and crew
of Pennridge’s
“The Hunchback of Notre Dame”.
One of the best shows
I have seen
in a long time!
Thank you for
a wonderful night!

Thumbs Up

To the young couple
who stopped their car on
Tohickon Avenue in Quakertown
Saturday night when my
puppy ran into the street.
The young woman got out of the car
to help me catch him.
I can’t even imagine what may
have happened if they
hadn’t been so kind.
Reggie and I
can’t thank you enough!

Thumbs Down

Dear Southern Lehigh “Karen”- Relax!
They’re just graduating seniors
having harmless water battles
outside of school hours.
Leave them alone
and try focusing on all
the other important issues
in our community
and beyond.

Thumbs Down

To the Rail Trail
dog walkers.
Please use the poop bags
provided to pick up
your dog’s waste
and dispose of properly.
It is unpleasant
to see and worse to
ride, run, or walk through.

Thumbs Up

To the lady
on 309 in Quakertown.
My apologies
for accidentally blocking
your way.
Thank you for being
kind and understanding,
I wasn’t feeling so
good that day.

Thumbs Up

To those
who show appreciation
towards
housekeepers and janitors.
Who understand
It’s not an easy job
cleaning up after others.
Thank you.

Thumbs Up

To the visitors
that go into hospitals
and nursing homes.
We appreciate your patience
for us workers
who try to get to
everything we can
even if we are behind.

Thumbs Up

I want to thank
the Good Samaritan
who found my keys on
Walnut Street
in Perkasie on Friday night.
My husband and I
were at a restaurant
having dinner for two hours,
came out and couldn’t find the keys.
Obviously, I dropped them.
Someone not only found them
but placed them on the
rear windshield wiper of my SUV,
which could have been stolen in a flash.
God bless you and thank you
for your kindness.
We are extremely grateful.
