To the people who tie out their dog numerous times daily and allow him to bark non-stop! Please be considerate. The whole block is tired of listening to your yappy dog!

My sincere thank you to the gentleman at the local grocery store last week for acknowledging my service in the military during the mid-1940’s. Paying for my bill was a kind and generous gesture. This deed was a surprise and reluctantly accepted. This gift was not only an honor to me, but received in awareness of your gratitude to all the other men and women who served our country. God bless you. A WWII Veteran

To all the people fighting and getting so upset about libraries getting funding. Does anyone even use the library anymore? Everything available at those libraries you can get on the internet. How about using the money for free internet instead?

To all the people advocating for funding our public libraries. People turn to libraries for free access to information, entertainment, and welcoming community spaces. Internet access is a vital resource, but could never replace everything libraries offer.

To those responsible for the upkeep of the dog park. How many times do we, as citizens of Perkasie, have to reach out for help with our dog park. It’s a mess to get in the big or small parks. We have to walk through mud and water. Shoes, clothing and dogs get full of mud. It is so bad many times the big dogs have to use the small dog side. All we get from you is “We are working on it”. All we ask is that you put mulch down so we can walk. All we hear is the trucks can’t get in, they will sink. Did you ever hear of a Bobcat? Why don’t you pick a day between 3pm and 3:30pm and our committee will meet with yours so we can solve this problem. Sincerely, Michael S. Crispino

To the people at the traffic light at Front & Broad Streets who move over to the left far enough so that anyone that wants to make a right on red can. It does help to reduce some of the traffic build up, especially on the weekend. The light time being reduced has caused that problem.

To the gentleman who bought this 80+ year old a butterscotch sundae on Free Cone Day at DQ. I thank you! You made my day!

To Quakertown Masonic Lodge #512 for giving the homeless a warm place to sleep with a meal during the colder months. It would be nice if other organizations would help by taking turns hosting different nights.
