Thumbs Up

To the bus drivers for Quakertown School District. Our children got home from school on that snowy Monday when the driving conditions were not the best. They arrived home safely and in a timely manner. Thank you all for the great job you’re doing!

Thumbs Up

Many thanks to Upper Saucon Township for clearing snow in Upper Saucon Township Park for us avid dog walkers. A special shout out to township employee Thomas Tomanik for offering your help in the snow. It was much appreciated.

Thumbs Up

To all the nurses at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill (7th Floor), who provided excellent care during my hospitalization after Christmas. You all rock! Thanks!

Thumbs Up

To Skippy, who witnessed the accident on January 28th. You took quick action to check on all involved to assure we were not injured. You set out warning triangles to assure our safety and even borrowed a broom from a nearby restaurant to clean debris from the intersection. We appreciate all that you did and are very grateful for your kindness. May God bless you.

Thumbs Up

To the sweet girl on Perkasie Avenue. Thank you for helping an 80-year old shovel her snow. Much appreciated!

Thumbs Down

For not allowing Little League or school baseball teams to play at James Memorial Field. What are teams supposed to do? What happened to community spirit? Why were fields built?

Thumbs Up

People of Lehtown area of Lower Milford Township. Somebody has a black cat and it is all over my porch. Wonder why they get hit? Keep letting it run loose. Take care of your pets!

Thumbs Down

To businesses that do not clear the snow from their sidewalks.

Thumbs Down

To all the avid dog walkers in Upper Saucon Township who do not clean up after their pets. My dog and I are tired of having to avoid the piles that you leave when walking your dog in our neighborhoods, local parks and at the Promenade Shops. Not only are you thoughtless and inconsiderate, but you are breaking the law. Upper Saucon Township has two ordinances that address cleaning up after your pets when walking in public.

Thumbs Up

Thank you so much to the man who helped my family change our truck tire the other night. We saw you helping someone else after us, too. Your kindness is much appreciated.

Thumbs Down

People! You don’t understand that with all the concrete & blacktop that is used in these developments is holding in all the heat from the sun in the summer and that is why it is getting hotter and hotter in the summer. No trees for shade or the wildlife. Is it really worth it? What are we leaving for future generations?

Thumbs Up

To the workmen who stopped to check on my husband who fainted in the driveway. He had just donated blood for the first time and was a little woozy! It is comforting to know the folks in this community are looking out
for one another.

Thumbs Up

Thank you to the man who paid for my daughter’s and my breakfast on Thursday, March 18 at John’s Plain & Fancy. She just went through a horrible relationship and couldn’t believe there are still good people out there. You made her cry. It was all good.
Bless you sir.

Thumbs Down

To the people who walk their dogs and let them off leash at the Springtown Cemetery and do not clean up after them. If this continues the cemetery will close to dogs. Please clean up after your dog!

Thumbs Up

To West Rockhill Township Supervisors for working on behalf of the residents to protect our community from big businesses who pollute our environment.

Thumbs Up

To everyone throughout our communities who goes out of their way to protect the quality of life in our neighborhoods.

Thumbs Down

To the person suggesting that the new blacktop and concrete in new developments is causing the temps to rise. Your ignorance is embarrassing and to your own point – come fly with me and in 60 seconds I can show you how utterly meaningless another acre of blacktop is. Millions of acres of uninhabited PA land lies there every day hoping someone will make it into a thing of beauty and value. The real problem is many people eschew the open areas because they require effort to live in. You same people then also crave the security of close friends and neighbors but at the same time resent those same people for being that close. Go figure. Look in the mirror before criticizing others.

Thumbs Up

To everyone throughout our communities who goes out of their way to protect the quality of life in our neighborhoods.
