To those who think It’s ok to take down political signs just because it doesn’t agree with their own views. I thought we had free speech in this country, everyone has a right to share their views. Maybe we can learn from each other, but if only one side is allowed to be heard, how can we grow as a nation? Let’s listen to each other!

The other day when I came out of Sine’s on a dripping wet gray day, something unusual happened. I was standing at the back of my car waiting for the traffic to pass. I had the hood up on my raincoat up and was using a cane. All of a sudden a tractor trailer stopped and the driver motioned for me to get in my car. He had just come through the traffic light so he was not driving fast. He probably thought he better let this old lady (I$m only 89-1/2) get in her car before she falls over in front of him. “Chivalry is not dead.” Trucker, you made my day!

To the individual who turned in my maroon change purse to Jo-Ann Fabrics. The contents could have been replaced, but the change purse could not. My husband bought that for me on our honeymoon 30+ years ago. Thank you very much.
