Thumbs Down

To the neighbors who let their dogs outside and leave them bark anywhere from 5 minutes to hours. Not only do I feel bad for the dog, but some people work night shift and need to sleep during the day. Be considerate! Just let the poor dog in, or go outside with your dog!

Thumbs Down

To all shoppers who wait until they are up at the checkout to look for any available coupons on their phones and/or decide to download store apps for coupons. If you want a discount on your purchase, start searching before you checkout and please be considerate of other customers in line. You are not the only person in this world. This will certainly make holiday shopping a little less painful.

Thumbs Down

To whoever buys their scratch off lottery tickets, checks for winners, and then litters them in Spruce Alley, Coopersburg. Can’t you take them home and throw them away? Or are you hiding them from someone?

Thumbs Up

To the man who helped me so much at Redner’s on Monday, November 18. You placed items from my powerchair onto the counter, stayed after you checked out to place my bags in the cart, and then met me in the parking lot to put my bags in my car! You were an enormous help to me and your kindness is very much appreciated! Thank you!

Thumbs Down

To the people who think that if they drive close to your bumper with their halogen head lights on high it will make you go faster! Not me! I will go slower! Driving close with bright lights on will only make it unsafe for everyone. Back off!

Thumbs Up

Sincere thanks to a kind woman who paid for our dinner, Thursday, November 21 at Sal’s Pizza Randa in the evening after overhearing me ask for a Veteran’s discount. Your generosity is much appreciated and will be paid forward.

Thumbs Down

To the young man driving a pickup truck that hit my mailbox, and also damaged my neighbor’s, on Portzer Road just off Milford Square Pike in Milford Township on October 10. You turned around and came back. You said you would pay for the damages and replace it. I tried calling and sent you a letter, but I haven’t heard a word from you. Obviously you lied and are an irresponsible person. I guess I need to file a complaint with the PA State Police.

Thumbs Up

To everyone, both law enforcement officers and passers-by, who helped me after my accident in Haycock Township on the afternoon of Saturday, December 7. You made the situation as tolerable as it could be. Many, many thanks.

Thumbs Up

To Dave and Mike for helping me on November 20 when I had a flat tire and a dead battery. A heartfelt thank you. You guys rock!

Thumbs Up

To Gloria, Dave, Lois, Kris, Debbie, Brad and Annette, who helped me in my 5 months of being ill. Thank you for everything that each of you did for me and my dogs. I found these people in the Penny Power and they never let me down. With each of them I made it through a really tough time in my life!!! Merry Christmas!! There are some really great people out there, you just have to reach out to them.

Thumbs Down

To the person in the pick-up truck on Kumry Road at the bridge on December 10. You need to read signs. Four cars at a time to keep traffic moving! You purposely hit the other vehicle.
