Thumbs Up

I really can’t wait for the construction in Coopersburg to be completed at Route 309/Passer Road. Just more discarded trash and litter for me to pick up on
Flint Hill Road.

Thumbs Up

Thank you to Bill at Lake Nockamixon State Park for doing a terrific job grooming the bike trails. They never looked better!!!

With so much hate filling our newspapers and air waves, I am so pleased to share some good news. I promised to repay the kindness of a couple who anonymously bought me a meal on July 3. I kept my promise and anonymously treated two people. Karma and ”paying it forward” are alive and well in Bucks County! Another most wonderful couple treated me to an excellent Sunday meal at Siam Restaurant, Buckingham PA. I was more than surprised when my server would not take my credit card, saying “No, the young couple you complimented paid for everything.” I again send warm thanks and a promise too. I will again return this kindness by anonymously treating another person to a terrific meal.

Thumbs Down

To people who just walk out in front of vehicles at a crosswalk. There are signs that there is a crosswalk, but that does not mean that if you are not in the crosswalk area and a vehicle is 3 feet from the marked area that the driver is supposed to stop and you can just walk in front of the vehicles. You must be in the crosswalk and then the vehicles are supposed to follow the rules and stop for the pedestrians. This also goes for crosswalk areas in shopping centers and streets with crosswalks. For one woman pointing to the sign and stepping out into the crosswalk area near Target in Quakertown when I was just about 3 feet from the crosswalk and pointing to the sign that she saw and was hidden behind the trees still in the wrong because she was not in the crosswalk when I was approaching it.

Thumbs Up

To Jason Moffett for taking time to help me find a display case for historic Bibles and thanks to the case owner for donating it to our church.

Thumbs Down

To the property owners who do not trim their tree branches and bushes from hanging into the sidewalk areas where people walk. Also to the people who do not trim their tree branches from the road area where vehicles can get scratched up when driving by.

Thumbs Up

To homeowners who have trimmed their plants and trees or removed them at intersections so drivers can have better visibility when pulling onto the roads. That has made for a safer intersection.

Gallantry is still alive. I was crossing with a cane in front of a pick-up truck who had stopped to let me pass. All of a sudden he jumped out of his truck and stuck his arm out and said “May I assist you to your car?” With a “God Bless You” he drove off with a smile. I also drove off with a smile. You know who you are Dan!

Thumbs Down

To the landlord for renting a space to people that made it a junkyard. It was nice before. I feel sorry for the lady that lives next to them. Her place is nice but has to see all the junk every day.

Thumbs Up

Thank you to the gentleman and the Pennridge policeman for helping us after our car wouldn’t start after our doctor visit. With all the unrest out there some goodness is still around. God Bless. Thanks again.

Thumbs Down

To the house with the obscene flag. America has always had political parties with opposing views but we don’t need to use vulgar words to express our opinion.

Thumbs Down

I travel Route 309 through Coopersburg at 5:45am and return at 4:15pm. I seem to be one of the very few drivers who do obey the posted speed limit through Coopersburg. Cars & trucks – Slow Down!!!
