Thumbs Down

To the school buses
that have to
stop at every street
when the students could
walk one short block
to the next street where
they could all gather.
It also does not help when
the parents feel
the need to have long
talks with the bus driver while
traffic is backing up.
Some of us have to go
to work.

Thumbs Up

A very special act of goodwill
and kindness took place recently.
Health issues caused a neighbor
to require a temporary
wheelchair ramp.
On a cold, rainy Sunday afternoon
two kind and talented young men
came to the rescue
and built an access ramp,
completely donating their
time and materials!
Thumbs Up, Thank You,
and Blessings to these two angels.
It meant the world to our
neighbors & our neighborhood.

Thumbs Down

To coaching staff for not teaching
their players to respectfully
take a knee and be quiet
when a player is seriously
injured on the field.
You’re in a position to teach
young men compassion
and respect and you failed.

Thumbs Up

To Coopersburg!!
Your generosity, compassion
and kindness was on full display
at Coopersburg Community Day!
The amazing donations that you gave
to Jillian’s Lemonade Stand
to help CHOP fight against
childhood cancer was
above and beyond all expectations!
So proud of our hometown!

Thumbs Down

To the Thumbs Down from
the person complaining
that school buses are stopping
at every corner and
he has to go to work.
First leave 5 minutes earlier
during school time.
The buses stop at every corner
to be safe so the
children don’t have to walk.
A child can disappear
in the blink of an eye.
These sick people don’t care
how small or big the kids are,
or where they are.
If they want them they’ll find a way.
As far as the moms talking
too long to a driver,
it could be she’s giving
the driver pertinent information
on her child so the driver can
keep them safe in the bus.
So put a lid on your attitude
and be thankful the driver
and the bus companies are
keeping our children safe
in any way they can.

A Long Time Ago Bus Driver
that still feels the anguish
of her student that got hurt.

Thumbs Down

To the person
upset with bus stops
and having to wait
for the kids
to get on the bus.
Either leave earlier or
go another way.
Keep students safe!

Thumbs Up

Thank you to
everyone who kept
a positive attitude
despite the weather this
past weekend
at the fall craft show.
You all had beautiful smiles.
From your
Neighbor Vendor

Thumbs Down

To those who packed up
at 3pm on Sunday,
it is supposed
to be done at 4pm.
Customers left my canopy
thinking it
was close up time.
Please do not pack up early
because you are
doing poorly,
it is very rude to others
and you may
still get a last minute sale.

Thumbs Down

Parents
please do not
block intersections
on Park Avenue.
The buses need to
drop off
and
pick up students.
Thank you.
Concerned driver.

Thumbs Down

To the two drivers
who parked
their vehicles the wrong way
on Tilghman Street, off
of Main Street
in Coopersburg when they
attended the Halloween parade
on October 15th.
By parking the wrong way
you were blocking
the road from any vehicles
getting through on
the street.
After the parade was over
there was no one else
walking anywhere around the area
and all the other vehicles
on the street needed to wait
until you took your good old time
getting into your cars
before anyone could proceed.
Good thing that an
emergency vehicle did not
have to turn off Main onto Tilghman
because it
was impassable.

Thumbs Down

To people
who buy a nice house
in a nice neighborhood but
turn it into an eyesore.
Please,
Mow your lawn.
Please,
Pull your weeds.
Please,
Pick up your junk.
Be considerate of your
neighbors.
