Thumbs Up

To the kind
and dedicated people
responsible for
the three American Flags
flowing freely and proud
on Grant Road.
It was an amazing
feeling to see this.
God Bless!

Thumbs Down

To the people who
blow through Trainers Corner
in Quakertown,
(where Kohl’s is for those
who don’t know).
Slow down!
Many workers and
pedestrians have complained
about how fast
most drive through the strip.
There is a
Kids’ karate school
there for crying out loud!
On Wednesday, August 16,
someone was hit by a car
that drove away,
hopefully you were caught
on camera.
Shame on you for leaving!
People are walking
through that parking lot every day,
at all times of the day.
It doesn’t hurt anyone, one bit to slow down.

Thumbs Down

Please honor
expert teachers by
reimbursing them properly.
Minimum wage is
not acceptable,
nor is ignoring the cost
of living increase,
let alone any type of
substantial raise.
Teachers give, teach and
give more.
Respecting teachers
means giving. Taking care
of what is valuable
is sensible and demonstrates
appreciation.

Thumbs Up

To all my
wonderful neighbors
who put my
daily newspaper on
the front porch
so this 84 year old
man does not have to
go down the front steps
to get the paper
off the sidewalk.

Thumbs Down

To the noisy
day camp/ballfield area
on Callowhill Road
in Hilltown Township for
not only playing music at all
times of the day
along with the parents
who need to
be more considerate.
It’s one thing
to use my driveway
to turn around, it’s another
to use my front lawn,
as one mother did around 11am
on Thursday July 27.
Wise up parents,
we are not here for you
and your kids.
Please show us some respect.

Thumbs Up

Our heartfelt thanks
to the gentleman
in the white SUV who
stopped and caught
our confused little dog when
she ran out into
the street
last Saturday.
We are forever grateful
for your kindness!

Thumbs Down

To the person
who is
annoyed by roosters.
I would
rather hear roosters
than a bunch of whining kids.
I’d rather have
roosters next to me in
the grocery store
than hear whining kids.

Thumbs Up

There are still angels
out there.
To my wonderful
neighbor and his friend,
the lawn tractor fixer.
They took the time
to order the parts needed
and fix my tractor
so I could get the job done
at a minimal cost.
Thank you so very much.
Lady in Distress.
