Thumbs Up

To Scouts, Parents, Southern Lehigh community and everyone involved in the Boy Scout Food Drive. 10,000 flyers were stapled to paper bags Giant generously donated. 599 boxes were moved, tents and tables set up outside and then tore down, food was picked up, sorted, moved and stored. Donating a record 26,259 pounds of food. Thank you to the stocking crew who will work over the next several months to unpack all the food. Special thanks to Matt Woodruff, Scout Leader, who has been running this food drive for over 20 years! Amazing job Matt! Thank you everyone for
your continued support.

Thumbs Down

To all of you backyard fire squabblers… this is what is
called a “first world problem”.

Thumbs Up

To the woman who paid for my order at Dunkin’ Donuts in Coopersburg on November 10th about 10:30am. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for being kind during the tough times we are all going through. I also want you to know that your kindness was passed along!
Thank you, again.

Thumbs Up

Thank you to Bob and Diana and Sarah for offering to replace my stolen bicycle. My neighbors gave me their spare bike, so I am back on the road again. But, I want to acknowledge your generous offers to a stranger. Your kindness helps to mitigate my sense of loss. Thank you.

Thumbs Up

To the ambulance crew, St. Lukes ER Staff and the driver who took me home later and took such good care of me after my accident on November 14th. God bless you always!

Thumbs Up

To Jamie and the many student volunteers from DeSales University who helped make Election Day
run smoothly! They were there the entire time, sanitizing railings and tables, assisting voters and carefully setting up and taking down the necessary equipment. Your help was greatly appreciated. Thank you all so very much.

Thumbs Up

To everyone in the Coopersburg community who provided treats for the kids on Trick or Treat night. There were so many kind people who took the time to make it fun yet safe for the kids. Thank you for giving them something to enjoy during this crazy time.

Thumbs Down

To all of those who resort to name calling because our health conditions make breathing in your fire pit smoke a hazard. You tell us to just go inside and close our windows, but isn’t that depriving us of enjoying our time outside with our families on our property? You don’t need a wood fire pit to enjoy time with friends and family, they do make gas fire pits that don’t produce smoke. It only takes one smoky fire pit to ruin the air in the neighborhood. Even if you are not lighting up every night, somebody else might be. Maybe you are the one being selfish and only thinking of yourself. By the way, smoke can still seep through closed windows. Thumbs Up

To the firefighter waiting to vote who called out the guy passing himself off as a poll worker on election day as a scam… The fake poll worker got in his van and took off a minute later once his cover was blown!

Thumbs Up

To the Supervisor of Springfield Township for his persistent willingness to advocate for the protection of its environment and residents.
Our heartfelt gratitude!

Thumbs Down

To the guy passing himself off as a poll worker on election day. He was handing out ballot guides to all the people in line waiting to vote which had suggested candidates already checked off…
Not cool!

Thumbs Down

To all the Debbie Downers and Uncle Killjoys writing in to complain about people using fire pits. Outdoor activities have been one of the few ways friends and families can safely visit each other during this pandemic. Supposedly we are all in this together, yet some folks still only think of themselves. Unless your neighbors are smoking you out 7 days a week, just chill, shut your windows, and let folks enjoy what
time they have left outdoors
before winter sets in.

Thumbs Down

To whoever stole my bike. How could you be so mean? I am an old woman who is no longer allowed to drive and my bike was my only means of transportation. Please return my bike and helmet. Surely,
I need it more than you do.

Thumbs Up

To whoever put the things that fell out the back of my pick-up truck, on the sidewalk, coming out of the Walmart in Quakertown. My husband and I are very grateful for that. Thank you from
the bottom of our hearts.
May God bless you.

Thumbs Down

To whoever buys scratch off tickets and walks down Spruce Alley in Coopersburg to check them and then rips them up and throws them in the alley,
almost every day!

Thumbs Up

To the cute Linus Halloween house with the tombstone in Quakertown. Always love the pumpkins and great candy. Thanks for the hand sanitizer!

Thumbs Up

To the Thumbs Down to the neighbors who use our cul-de-sac as their own personal parking lot!! Please use the spaces provided instead of our
beautiful street!
