Thumbs Up

To the person who found my keys in the parking lot of Giant in Quakertown. They left them with the customer service attendant and my day has started off much better. I had lost them the previous night when the store was closing.

Thumbs Up

To Elise. Thank you for your Christmas card. We are happy that you liked the decorations. It is good to know that people really like them. Happy New Year to you and your family. It was a very nice note to receive. From The Happy Homeowners with all the decorations.

To Frank (my Guardian Angel). Thank you for staying and talking until the ambulance came Thanksgiving night. You kept me calm. You left so quickly, I never got to say thank you! -Bonnie

To the players, sponsors and volunteers who helped make the 4th Annual Holiday Basket Bingo for the Sellersville Fire Department a huge success! Please remember to thank the businesses who sponsored the baskets and donated items for the Chinese auction because without them we could not continue to hold this annual event. Monies raised go back into the community in the form of resources such as equipment, training, supplies, etc. for our volunteer firefighters who respond in your time of need

Thumbs Down

To the speeding driver who, on the evening of December 23, crashed through our split rail fence, destroyed our shrubs and gorgeous magnolia tree, hit the car of my brother from out of state who was visiting for the holidays, and worst of all who drove away leaving debris and devastation to our property.

Thumbs Up

To ”Timmy” who left a handwritten note and candy in our mailbox on Beechwood Drive in Sellersville. Our family loved your note and it warms our hearts to know that our light display brings joy to others. We hope you had a very Merry Christmas!

What an awesome day we had at Coopersburg Community Day. Another one in the books! Can’t wait until next year! Thanks to all our hardworking volunteers who help to make this very special event possible. Thanks to all the vendors, community organizations, crafters, corporate sponsors, artisans, flea marketers and entertainment, without whom our Celebration of Small Town America wouldn’t happened!

Thumbs Up

Thanks to the generous lady in IGA who was in line ahead of me and paid my grocery bill. She left before I got a chance to thank her. Thank you so much for being so kind. From a Surprised Lady.

To Trick-or-Treat night, the only night of the year when it is okay to disguise children and actually encourage them to take candy from strangers!

Thumbs Down

For tearing down the dam at Weisel Youth Hostel. You should have left it alone. A waste of taxpayers’ money plus the wildlife was disturbed.

Thumbs Down

To the people who think the yield signs at the rotary on Station Road and South Main says ”Except You”. People just speed through or tailgate the person in front of them almost causing an accident. A yield sign means slow down, prepare to stop and give way to traffic already in the intersection. It doesn’t mean speed up to beat the car already going through. This is a daily occurrence and nothing is being done about it.

Thumbs Up

To the person who found my wallet at the Speedway on 378 and turned it in to the station clerk. So nice to know there are decent people who are still doing the right thing!

To the vandal who threw liquid on my truck. Direct hit! Luckily I have insurance for this considering the fact it needed to be repainted. You thought you were ”getting me” but, you did not! I pray you have realized how wrong these actions were and overcome the hatred. Learn how you are supposed to treat others. I am praying for you!

Thumbs Down

Shame on the person who bought the land on Pumping Station Road and is not mowing the weeds.

Thumbs Down

To the people who blow their leaves into the street. Don’t you know what this unsightly and hazardous mess in front of your house says about you? Be a good neighbor and pick up your leaves just as the rest of us do.

Thumbs Down

To the drivers who fail or refuse to yield to responding firefighters with warning lights. True, they are “courtesy” lights, but I would hope you show the same courtesy that you would demand if it was you in a car wreck, your house that was burning or your loved one in need of medical attention. Whether they are red, blue or both, give the same courtesy and respect they deserve.

What is the hold up for repairing the bridge on Blue Church Road? Please get this project going!
